Hey there,
With claymore's, it is possible to tell if it is a Marines/SAS or Opsfor/Spetsnaz plant by the "Flag". Thus letting you know whether it is safe to pass.
My suggestion is, if possible, to make the C4 similarly identifiable. Either with a similar "flag" or maybe a different model colour or laser colour?
Would be great if possible.
