Ok so reinstall game and everything?

Do i need the  ADVANCED SERVER SETUP, CLIENT & SERVER SETUP or the  SINGLE IWD SERVER SETUP?

I am running a public server..... currently the eXtreme+ 2.2

Basically, create a new, empty mod folder for 2.3 on your server. Set all other mods and custom mod aside for the time being.
Unpack the distribution zip to an empty folder on your PC, configure the basic settings in server.cfg, and copy its contents (folders, files, the whole works) to the new mod folder on the server.
Change the command line on your server, so it's looking for the new mod folder (fs_game), and fire it up.
Does it start? Shut it down again, configure the cfg's (maprotation.cfg and all cfg's in the scriptdata folder) on your PC to your liking, and upload them to the server. Fire it up. Only if the server runs fine in this stage, start adding custom maps.

Well -- There's a nice Quick Setup Guide PDF in the distribution package. It's all in there m8.

Ok so i went through the PDF and followed the instructions... guess what... still not working.hehe
So basics of just setting up the new mod on a server that is on my own computer? Once I get it running and put my stuff in it and test, I can upload it all to the public server and that is much easier. I think where Im getting lost is I cant figure out what files go where...

Patman San, your very good at breaking it down to my idiot level and your instructions are easy to follow, so can you give me the basics on how to set this up on my computer and be able to run it from here? I think I can get it from there if I know I got the files in the right place.

 I have the 2.2 running on my test server on my computer so I kinda know what it should look like but I am doing somthing wrong here on 2.3 I think.

 I set it all up again but am getting the same problem as b4. missing that one file... I downloaded the CLIENT & SERVER SETUP the first time and this time I tryed the ADVANCED SERVER SETUP and got the same problem...

 So HEEEEELLLLPPPP please! hehe

Post a screenshot of the contents of your fs_game folder and also post your commandline

I got the extreme folder in and stopped the Could not find script 'extreme/_ex_drm': (file 'maps/mp/gametypes/tdm.gsc', line 1)

Now its saying: ******* script compile error *******
Could not find script 'maps/mp/gametypes/_landmines': (file 'extreme/_ex_weapons.gsc', line 2442)
  self thread maps\mp\gametypes\_landmines::giveLandmines(totallandmines);
But I go into that file and the whole thing is there....

You are missing the entire serverside part of the mod m8

What did you do with it all?

/extreme/
/mptype/
/maps/

etc etc etc

Ok.... so if I had a script in my old mod so my rifles are simi auto, where would that be? or if it would be easier, where would i get a simi auto rifles mod?
