There are a few tools out there that can be added or configured to allow multiple zooms for scopes when used in larger maps where there is a range issue.  Zoom1 / 2 & the Zoom three uses a projectile with regular ammo effect to accomplish overcoming the longer range.

Can you guys incorporate this into your mod as an added feature to turn on/off ?

Thanks

**** Great job guys !!!!

Not sure how you guys were going to implement this, but it would be really good if the zoom was not triggered by the shift key.  We had the AWE 3.2.2 mod on our server for a while (until we got sick of it causing game crashes), and the zoom that they've implemented was really annoying.
Cool, but annoying.

I sent Joker a workaround for grabbing input from non-monitored keys. I have a scope switching script bound to the M key on my sniper server. No clientside rebinding or anything along those lines. It gets automatically bound and is not tied to the Melee or Use functions in any way.

Joker,

What kind of timetable do you have on having scope available ?

We were using an extreme mod prior to 2.0 ... can't remember which right now ... 1.9 maybe ....

We switched to 2.0 a couple of weeks back and had a hell of a time getting the zoom scope working & also fighting server crashes.  We are currently turning pieces off and on trying to determine what is causing the crashes, could be the scope.

We are old and not terribly smart at all this mod stuff .... lol

We could go back to 1.9 until you guys have something working on 2.1

Thanks for all your time and effort.

Donation will be your way soon ....

mod went from 1.6 to 2.0, so it must be 1.6 you were running.
