Shortened Name spaces

Anybody out there know when/if Activision is going to put out a patch what will finally give us more spaces for our online game name? I don't know about the rest of you but this irritates me.

In COD2 we had 26(?) spaces in which to put our name and clan tag. COD4, if I am not mistaken is 16. Why would they do this and not fix it in the first patch? Now I know 16 spaces is very "convenient" for the hexidecimal system but since the GUID is longer anyway what's the big deal?

Am I the only person annoyed at IW/Activision for doing this?

Activision has nothing to do with it, It is all Infinity Ward.  I'm pretty sure they have heard the high demand from the public on this.  I would be very surprised if we did NOT see this in a Patch in the future

Fitting the hexdecimal system? LMAO. I think in the next patch they make the limit 2 -- far more convenient for the binary system.
