Hey guys and gals

I'm looking for a good CPU Fan for an Intel Core2Duo E6750

Looking for any input, especially if you have a Core2Duo and what fan you are using.  Also what your Temps are while running COD4 ;)

Links would be helpful too :)

Hey joker we meet again.Really enjoyed the game show at Bash. When I put my rig together I used a zahlman for my xtreme 6800.My stock is left over and never installed.Socket lga775.Considering the conroe core runs so cool I bet you could easily overclock with this stock monster.Im overcocked on the x6800 from 2.9 to 3.5 with the zahlman and the temps have barely budged.Feel free to have it as it will just collect dust under my desk and is looking quite lonely in its current frame of mind.If this is what you are in need of shoot me an email with all postal info and ill send it right out.

There is a fan cooled the artic freezer, we have tested this fan out alot, with a core 2 duo that ran into the 70-80 band, with this fan it was cooler than the zalman and less noisy now running at full load at a temp of 30-40!, but the real good thing is that it cost less than £15 or around $25-30

I use a Zalman 9700. I am running it with an E6600 overclocked to 3.6. I have had the proc as high as 3.8 but it is not stable there for COD4. My temps OC'd are 30 C at idle and 38 under the load of COD4. If I take the OC off the idle temps are 22 C. The case is also an Antec 900. The Zalman will give you the best cooling short of H2o. It also comes with a Fan Mate II so you can adjust the fan speed at your leisure or leave it to the MOBO. I have also built systems with a QX9650 using the same cooler and the temps were the same,(underload) and that is a quad although the new technology runs the proc cooler. There wasn't much temp difference with the QX9650 from idle to load. The Zalman keept everything in the 30 range. My 2 cents!
