Sniper Longshot record ?

I have noticed a few servers running x4 that have this record ability up on screen... How could a person do this? Is it a add on?

j/k joker... say the word. i smell a feature being added to the next installment of x4.

i also remember reading a post that may have been bogus not sure that someone has figured out a way to separate stock maps with a minefield...

like i said it could be bogus and i cant remember where i read it...

It is quite doable (Minefield separation of any map stock or cutom).  That is the way we ran many stock maps before the tools came out.


Perhaps if I am given permission I can post here a TUT for such things.

Tutorial on that please do or if you have a link to maps that would be great...

Vista has kicked my ar$$ as far as the CoD4 tools go... I give and yes I have done all the correct things but this is for another day...

Minefield on Stock would be welcome by the Sniper community...

Maybe we need a sniper forum area Joker...

 Works in conjunction with Longest Shot and Longest Headshot which was posted some time ago.

 I added some code to display the distance in meters or yards, whichever you have picked to display in your obits. The Record will display the Longest Headshot or Longest Shot, or both which are dvar controlled, as a running history. This means it is NOT on a per map basis but on the full running history of the server. It resets when the server has been restarted. Code courtesy XV5. I'll give a download once it's been tested some more.

That smiley face would get on my nerves quick.  :D

I wouldnt make the longest shot notify multicolored like that. Or, only the distance number. But I like the idea.
