Impaired Sound

First off great job on 2.1 we love it.

Many players use sound as a location/directional tool. In combat ones ability to hear is reduced by gunfire ect. Is it possible to add a sound fader effect so that the players ability to hear is impacted relitive to noise exposure?

i would think you could, if memory serves me correctly, doesn't it already do this when you go into shellshock? i know you don't want the shellshock part, but i think the game imapirs your sound a bit, if so then you should be able to build off that code.

If possible, I beleive it would add a realism factor to the game.

eXtreme uses pretty much all stock sounds for the weapons.

You can get alot of different sounds from www.codfiles.com :)
