In config/gametypes.cfg there is this setting:

set ex_sniper_war "0" // special spawn point management for snipers (WAR only)

Have you tried setting that to 1 and restarting the server?

Only works for people who choose spectate.   not for peeps that gets killed during game.


The blackscreen - is only active during DM as well... I'm tweaking it now for war ...  will post if it works. lol

The Black Screen on Death is threaded into all 9 gametype GSC's m8, should be nothing to tweak

if(level.ex_blackscreen) maps\mp\gametypes\_blackscreen::init();

Small problem with ac130 and some custom maps.
I think it's the skybox being to low so the bullets-cases fired explode in the air and not on ground.Any way to change or lower the ac130 on a specific map?

Ex_ac130high_mp_whatever xxx???

no go on war...

not sure of the other game types.. but i know it works on DM.

From above comment I am assuming the following ...
1. tcweapons.iwd at top level of mod folder (x4v20)
2. LR_Rifles ... zipped all together and renamed to .iwd (lr_rifles.iwd) then inserted also at top level of mod folder (x4v20)    

Both files also at redirect.

Correct ?

I am running custom maps, not stock except for new maps

Is it by any chance the =CO= sticky nades mod from filefront? if so the mod is fully compatible with the new x4 just copy in to your fs_games folder.

I took the image and weapons from the tcweapons.iwd and added/replaced the files in the z_x4.iwd. Did the same for the weapons in the LR_rifles.iwd

Haven't really checked all changes out but also noticed the G3 not fully automatic as stated in the readme. LR rifles work great and I could actually see Joker (in California)  from where I live in Michigan if the scope is set on 10...lmao
