i would like to up the ammo in the game

You have to edit each and every weapon file to do this

default weapons are on : iw_11.iwd/weapons/mp
If i m right you must change those settings : maxAmmo\180\startAmmo\90 (this is for Ak47)

you must do it for all weapons files

create a new iwd and add your change inside.
