increase sniper distance

can someone tell me how to increase the distance a bullet travels? some sniper maps are huge and wish the bullet to travel from one side of the map to the next. thanks.

HI

this is what i know
open the weapon file and search for

\aiEffectiveRange\2400

thats the range the bullits travel
change the 2400 to 4000 (or higher)and u will know the difference
