Sniper Kill??

Hey, this may seem a simple question, so please forgive!

We are a sniper only clan and use short and long range sniper rifles. On the stats board at the end, there is a category "Sniper Kills" - Just wonder what actually consitutes a "Sniper kill"??

A kill -- Other then a Headshot -- from a Sniper Rifle
