« on: April 24, 2009, 02:30:26 pm »
Hello,
I have searched the internet for a good mod and your keeps coming up on top! I would love to run your mod with custom maps and have been trying for the past week to get the eXtreme mod installed on my COD:5 server with no luck at all and im going freaking crazy! I have a redirect site or i can use my webhost it doesn't matter to me.Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks;
A guy who needs to keep what lil hair he has

To get the help you need, you need to give a point of reference as to how far thru the process you are, what you've done so far, etc....

Have you read thru the pdf file with the install instructions that is attached to every version of the mod?

Be more than happy to help....but need to know more specifics.

May want to add an honest level of experience so folks know who they are talking to.

Sorry, meant absolutely no disrespect to anybody, but was speaking to Hikingwolf.  Sometimes it helps to know the question as well as the person asking it.  And trust me, as far as the game or mods go, I will take the back seat to all of you (there may be a few that I have the advantage over though...lol).

We started setting him up last night, but he had to run due to personal matters.

He's with Gameservers so it should be easy....noted a couple things.

On his side, the structure was a bit off with a few files.

On the GS side of things....it's a different structure than the normal set up.

Not sure if that's part of the cause but he will need to send in a ticket to have them erase some things that for some reason, it will not let him delete.

Normally, he should be able to delete mod folders, files etc...and move them around as needed, however, he keeps getting a denied error.

I'll follow up with him when he's back and I'm sure it's all gonna work out.
