Clan Member Check

Hi!

Unfortunately, it occurs more and more often that players steal the nicknames of members of the clan and connect to the server this way, so that they have the privileges that clan members have in eXtreme+ mod, such as call of vote, free choice of team, etc. In spite of the Clan Member Check they can copy the name of an already existing clan member and they can connect to the server without problems.

My question is whether you plan to have a more accurate identification of members in a later version of eXtreme+ mod?
 
For example, clan members could be given a clan password or a PIN code. Those who don't know them, won't be allowed to connect to the server, despite having a Clan Tag in their name.

Yep. If they abuse your clan tag only, the clan member checker is great. If they steal the player's name, including tag, then the checker won't help. As the GUID function is unreliable, we do not recommend using that. Adding a PIN code to the clan checker is a very good idea. Gixxer and I discussed that a couple of months ago. It didn't make it in 2.5 tough. Maybe later...
