WOW

Ok, first thing is in your rotation, your class is the same for all maps, and your gametype is the same for all maps, so no need to repeat

set sv_mapRotation "gametype tdm class 1234567890 map mp_drum map mp_airfield map mp_asylum map mp_kwai map mp_bgate map mp_castle map mp_shrine map mp_stalingrad map mp_courtyard map mp_dome map mp_downfall map mp_hangar map mp_kneedeep map mp_makin map mp_makin_day map mp_nachtfeuer map mp_outskirts map mp_vodka map mp_roundhouse map mp_seelow map mp_subway map mp_suburban"

Also, set this to 1
set ex_fix_maprotation "1"

Makes those changes, save to your server, and restart

Ok got the files from here and uploaded just scripts (didnt upload the iwd file or configs)

It was still the same so i thought it could be the stance monitor causing it, i did have it set to monitor jump and prone. I have now disabled it and i no longer have the problem.

I will try with just jump and also try adjusting the threshold to see if that makes a difference.

I would upload all the files, not just the gsc's

If you still have issues, let me know -- I have 2 servers running v2.5 with no probs, I'll update the ZIP with what I have

Joker

Ok I did what you told me to do.

The server loads up TDM now from the start like it should, but when I went to rcon a map for KOTH I joined in the game and selected my weapons then boom...the server didnt crash but instead loaded a  DM map.  After the map loads, I  select the team  wanna be on but if I select a class or weapons. The server starts the next map in the DM rotation.

I cant figure out why it would go to a DM map.

I killed the server, and restarted it if your willing to see what I mean...it'lll play TDM all day no problems, but no other gametype works
174.37.220.198:28960 server IP
but I dont have redirect so it'll take you forever to get in  unless you can the mod files and place them in a folder called emily

Sounds exactly like what Jimmy was explaining to me the other night.

So, my next questions are:

When did you download X5v2.5.zip?
And from where?  (what link)

Jimmy supplied me with the mod and his configs and the  different  _ex_votemaps.gsc

I'm not really sure when he got it

I think he knew I was gonna need all the things kinda set up already ( Yep I"m a noob)  so he provided me with his configs just to start

And your right Jimmy said he'd let you know ..and to maybe try a different mod ,but really like yours and if you have no problems then is gota be here on my end.

Would you suggest to just redownload it and place it on there fresh?

I'm not that far into tweaking on the setting that I cant do that.
I appreciate your help ....I'm looking to be  more and more the retard he he

Joker I seem to have fixed my problem...

I deleted all the files off the server except for the confg folder and server.cfg and the log files
I redownloaded the mod from this mirrior 1 http://mycallofduty.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=4124 replaced them on the server and now I dont seem to have any problems or if I do I dont know about them.

Thank you very much for taking the time to help me

Gumby recieved what I thought to be the most recent version...however...that being said, now that I look at the issues....this is quite possibly the cause.

I had the mod running fine....On the old server...which I've since moved to a new IP....perhaps I unknowingly crossed up the files and actually moved the old version that would crash...thus passed the same to Gumby8888.

If Gumby re-downloaded the files and applied them and they work properly now, I have to suspect I am correct.

My apologies guys. Best of intentions gone astray unfortunately lol....bad case of oooo shiny syndrome for me

I will know soon enough after I re-apply the mod.

I needed the experience...
Your help has been nothing but excellent JimmyCorps.
The help that I've received from you, Hesgone, and Joker, by far, shows the outreach of online games.

JimmyCorps I feel you have taken that this, is as your fault.  Instead I feel I probably messed things up here messing around. (During file transfer)

I would assume that normally in my situation that if a person rented a server they would be completely on their own to figure EVERYTHING out....you did not do this to me.  Yes I have been trying to find out whats wrong all week, but if you remember you told me I have a learning curve to overcome.  I look at this as part of that.  It was an easy easy fix.

I still have nothing but complete respect for you.

Can't tell you how much I appreciate your help.
