Server conncetions

Does anybody have any idea as to why all of a sudden when I connect to any server the initial count, where it says "Awaiting Connection" would go from a count of 2 or 3 to 8 or time out.  Internet connection is the same, no loss that I can tell with testing.  Any ideas?

I'm sorry I wish I could tell you the why or how or what to do to solve it. I have the same problems on my servers. My Staff and I already tested some things, and took some things of the mod and added things and at this moment I am testing if it's a custom map problem. But I hate it we keep having the problems. So I hope people can give you a answer, that will also make me very happy.

Well, It just started this on Wednesday night or so.  Maybe it is an EA issue.  Seems like several have it on the PST Sniper server, but think it could be related to the number of maps.   Not sure.

Nope, it is ATVI's master server that has been up and down frequently over the last 2 weeks

Ahhh so I am giving myself and others a lot of work for nothing  :lol: I hope that's it, but I also have some problems with ping sometimes people who get 999 ping, hate that.

definetly sounds like a master server issue,
coz our server has recently been doing same thing , and our maps are set up in vtemaps .gsc,  with a very small rotation if server lies empty..
ive been having to open console and /reconnect  several times before it seems to "catch"..
thot it was just me and some of my clan that had this issue,
but after reading this thread , looks like a master server issue..

So you guys think count and ping problem are one and the same? If so I am done  :) No more testing and just blame the ATVI's master servers.  :P
