well I have spawn and seen guys lookin right me and start shooting
and they shoot till they kill me lol
but like I said most are tryin not to do this now
but this has nothing to do with what i ask about
getting the writing removed about the protection
it hurts my eyes while tryin to look around

it used to do a count down at the bottom of the screen and that was acceptable
it didnt bother anyone then it started with the writing in the middle of the screen
I'm not sure what I changed but think it was when I turned on 'Invisible Spawn Protection'
if it was me at all - who knows - just would like to remove it or move it to the bottom or have only the counter

Also can the Clays be set to remove when the player that layed them dies

use the set scr_deleteexplosivesonspawn "1" found in the explosives section of the weopons cfg file setting it to one simply removes all explosves on player respawn

Now if we can get the writing gone or moved to the bottom of the screen
it would be great

This is the Biggest complaint I am getting now
the Squad is really liking the Mod

We have turned off the beams on Clays and set them to kill everyone
the more I adjust the more it's liked :)

hold the flag (htf) works but sadly atm i cant seem to get the flag objective icons to show on the map or compass

also claymore defuse and body search wont work ( icons and messages appear but the function key doesnt respond
sentry gun is ace with a 360 degree range but it doesnt scan up and down. it is never the less very leathal
all kill streaks work although i did have to tame down the napalm lol

oh yea Jocker is there anychance that as the ammo crates chute in could the player be set to chute in on first spawn also? i had a go at writing some script in but without knowing what the player is referred to in the mod i have been unsucsessful in this lol

Well we mainly play dm and war as some dont like the other game plays

as for maps we have about 20 custom maps only 3 the same as you

no Nuke

Drop Med is on and self heal is on

after some checking invisible spawn protection is working

server is private but if you contact me I can let a few in

it's off to the next map
tried for 30 mins to get in but just kept loading maps lol
then it got stuck redownloading shipment3.iwd over and over

as sson as i get time mate ill post up a list of maps and game types that work with version2 bud

with regards to download speeds i got them at 1.2meg ps but some of our lads got 12 kb so they left the game then came back in and got 200 to 300 kb

a couple of maps we play dont allow the chopper but until i find and editor i can load the maps into as they are then save them it will have to stay the same lol

some of the maps that we loved on V2 wont run on V3 its a shame but V3 rc5 has so many other benafits that its irrelavent

we played the v2 mod for about 18 months as pretty much our only mod the only thing the lads and lasses didnt like was the uav compass not working in hardcore mode. this is fixed in V3 and alls pretty kewl

would be kewl in v3 if we could chute in on spawn like the ammo crates do but maybe Jockers looking into it for the next revision

body search and claymore defuse seems to not woork in hardcore mode but all else seems fine now

it really is an awesome mod try it out mate

invisible spawn protection works fine with the voice notification but is there any way to disable the text message on the screen please. i have had to disable spawn protection all together as some members complained it spiolt there vision.

also is there any way to hide the enemy bomb carrier in sab and s&d and hotpotato doesnt seem to work

everything else with the x4v3rc5 works a treat now loving the hold the flag

i have experimented with getting the player to chute in like the ammo crates do. is this at all possible?

found them in one of the files and deleted the test string
and everything still works
we have about 30 custom maps loaded in the server
most really like it

one more thing I would like to turn off is on the hud map the enemy when they shoot
so basicly the hud will only be good to find your team

the setting is in the compass cfg  its compass_enemy ping . just set it to "0"

cant find the setting at all for the spawn message could you point me to the correct cfg file by any chance thanks

it's not really a setting

in the  Mods\extreme\extreme\

look for _ex_spawnprot.gsc

in that file look for  self iprintlnbold("^4Invisible ^7Spawn Protection ^1Enabled"); and make it self iprintlnbold("");
then find self iprintlnbold("^4Invisible ^7Spawn Protection ^1Disabled"); and make it self iprintlnbold("");

hi just tried to log on your server started off downloading mod at 1.3meg then the redirect changed to server location then started downloading mod again at 12 k
