Server crashing with v3.0

 First let me say you guys did a great job with making this mod. Our Guild that I am in decided to start using mods and when i came across this one ... well you know it beat all I have seen out there.

But to come to the point as to why i am here. I have installed the mod ... made my changes but we are having a server crash every now and then. It seems to occur if someone is in spec mode. I was in spec mode and all of a sudden bam I was kicked and it said something about no free rides. At the same time the server crashed. I can't find a place to shut this off. Hope you can help.

Hmmm, I think we are going to need alittle more information

Next time it crashes, stop the server, and post up your console_mp.log

Also get a screenshot of the message you get "no free rides" or whatever it is

  Thank you for replying. I will get this info asap. I tried to get it to crash with just me on server in spec mode. No luck. So I take it there has to be players in server while I'm in spec. I posted on our Guild forum that I will need players this evening in the server so we can get your info needed.

Again this is a great looking mod. Our Guild loves it. Hope the issue can be worked out which I am sure it can. But then again it might be something I have set wrong. Great job you all do.

Oh forgot to tell you ... its not caused by someone being in spec mode like I thought ... everyone was playing and we made it through a map and a half when it shut down. Everyone got the same message that was in server.

I thought i had it Joker. I replaced the extreme folder in the mod thinking it was corrupt ... but after being in the server by myself i still got this:

Well that is just odd.  I know what is causing the error, but funny how it has never come up or been seen until now LOL

I have fixed the error and attached the file.  Upload it to your server overwritting the original

But I have a question, Perhaps it's a good idea to make a sticky post with all RC.5 fixes?  Just like PatmanSan did with X2 fixpacks.  That way people don't need to search in every post to find the fix they need.

Thanks Joker i got it ..... I had reverted back to version 2.0 for the time being so we could game. I will add this patch and give it another shot. Thanks a million.

Also I like MissVonTripp's idea ... that would help us not so good of installers to keep track of fixes. It would be nice to have a complied list form.

I have been without power... sorry ... snow and ice storm got me. I have not had a chance since being off line. Today is the first day for me to really be online. I am the only one that sets up the servers, so i will get it updated to mod asap. Feels good to have internet again ... I felt lost without her. LOL !!

I added the patch but can't get the server to start back up now ... we were running custom maps with v2.0 so I thought that might be why it would not start back up. I put the stock map  overgrown back in rotation to check it. Server still would not start back up. I think I will do a complete reinstall and see what happens. If it starts back up then, I will add patch and see if that was the problem. We run a dm server and started using custom maps with v2.0. I might not be able to use v3 if the custom maps won't work with it. When the crashes first started we were only running stock maps that it stated we could use in the notes.

Ok I have messed something up ... don't know what i did but i can't get the v3.0 to run on server at all now. I even tried to rename file and can't get it going. I have tried mods/x4v3.0_rc5 .... mods/X4V3.0_RC5 and renamed it to x4v3.0 and tried mods/x4v3.0 and server will not start back up .... any suggestions ....

I have done a complete removal and reinstall everything ... I have not added the patch yet on the reinstall ... still no luck .... ?
