Server Messages - custom str ?

Hi, I'm a bit noobish at modding but I've just installed extreme 2.1 on a cod 2 server and got it working great but Im having trouble with one thing.

I want to change the server messages but I cant find ' custom. str ' which I believe I need to edit to get my server messages up

Can someone please point me in the right direction cos ive searched every file and folder in the mod but I cant find it  :?

2.1? I didn't even keep a copy of 2.1

It's not in the folders  - it's packed up in the iwd archive -  

So associate iwd files with your zip utiltiy in Windows Explorer -   Tools  -  Folder Options - File Types

Try looking in the extreme2.1.iwd   with Winrar --->here is the path:

fs_game/                   <<--find this in Windows Explorer (your fs_game that is)
extreme2.1.iwd/            <<--this opens in Winrar with a doubleclik
localizedstrings/
custom.str                <<-- If you associate str files with your editor this opens with a doubleclik

...and when you save it  -- Winrar will update the archive!! No need to unzip anything...
