Yeah he probably banned me from his forum. I was pretty angry but oh well anyway I found a Vista fix...

Turn your sound down to 16bit 44100mhz

Hell of a way to improve sound turn quality down...

WOW 3 months to build and test a patch that is supposed to pass 5 phases of testing, and in the first 2 hours into release a major issue like NO sound comes up... Please tell me the next cod will not be produced by this company..

Thanks for the fix info... I will pass it on to my guys that use Vista. (may God have mercy on their souls).

You may want to sticky this so folks can find it easily. It appears they fixed sound for guys running older hardware but screwed up the X-FI users... Demand for a hotfix I believe are not out of the question...

VISTA SOUND FIX

Lower your sound quality to 16bit 44,100mhz

Do the same for your mic...

CLANS AND COMMUNITIES

Make sure your TeamSpeak Channels are running the 16 bit codec's

I have Vista, but one of my Clan Members has XP, and now no sound.  When I fix his problem, would you like me to post the fix here for future users?

Hi All

I have a problem with no sound on XP. In the game sound settings it says I am using speakers but my Windows config says I am using headphones. This has only happened since I installed the 1.2 patch. I have now upgraded to 1.3 and still have the same problem.

Anyone know a fix for it.

Many Thanks
